Toni’s Conference Call Ministry

I started the conference call ministry in 2013 after discovering that women were not comfortable meeting in public places to discuss their past abortions.

So, the Lord gave me the idea for a conference call.

The purpose of the call is to give woman a safe place to speak honestly about their abortion in a safe and loving environment.

Please join us. We are here to love, listen and encourage you to seek the Lord and His comfort, healing and gift of forgiveness.

May God bless you as you seek to be healed from your past abortion.—Toni

for the
Abortion Recovery Women’s Support Group (ARWSG)

The purpose of this support group is to give women a safe place to speak honestly and openly about their past abortion in a loving and caring environment.

It is God’s desire that His daughters be healed from their past abortions.

For too many years we have sat in darkness, isolation, and bondage because of our decision to terminate the life of our children.

I also know some of you were forced to have an abortion against your will.

God wants us free from the shame, guilt, and condemnation that has kept us in silence and feeling all alone.

God wants us to step out of the darkness, into His glorious light so we can be healed and so we can become the women He created us to be.

Perhaps for the first time in our lives, we can be set free from our past, to live the abundant life Jesus came to give us.

Only God can take our ashes, our horrible decisions, and our sins and turn them into something beautiful for our good and for His glory.

When we risk moving out of isolation, the buried memories will return, and that is when the healing begins. Here in this group, we will provide you with a safe environment to share your heart and your hurts about your abortion and your past that led to this decision.

By gradually releasing the burden of unexpressed grief, we slowly move out of the past, and we learn to accept our decision and begin to understand why we chose abortion or why we found ourselves with an unplanned pregnancy in the first place.

This is a Christ-centered anonymous meeting, and everything that is said in the group stays in the group; it is only then, we can feel safe to share.

When you see someone outside the group, please refrain from mentioning where you met, unless all persons are comfortable with sharing that.

This meeting was designed to give women who have experienced the trauma of abortion, a safe place to share, in a safe and loving environment.

Offensive language has no place in a Christ- centered recovery group.

When on the conference call, please introduce yourself and say, “Hi, I am (your first name), and I would like to share.” When finished sharing, say something like, “Thank you for letting me share.”

When you share with the group, use “I” statements, such as “I think…” and/or “I feel…”; and address the group as a whole.

Please only share your experience, strength and hope, while you dialogue on the topic.

No cross talk; cross talk is when two individuals engage in a conversation excluding the rest of the group. The facilitators do have permission to redirect the group if they go off topic.

We are not here to fix one another but to encourage each other on our spiritual journey to wholeness and healing, through a relationship with Jesus Christ.

Please keep your phone on mute when you are not sharing so it is a good connection for all.

Our Florida statute mandates that we report any threats or acts of serious harm to self or others, suspected neglect, physical, or sexual abuse of children or vulnerable adults.

Lastly, thank you for your courage to be on this call because without you, there would be no conference call ministry.

God Bless you. —Toni

Serenity Prayer

God grant me the serenity to accept the things I cannot change;

Courage to change the things I can;

And wisdom to know the difference.

Living one day at a time;

Enjoying one moment at a time;

Accepting hardships as the pathway to peace;

Taking as Jesus did, this sinful world as it is, not as I would have it;

Trusting that He will make all things right if I surrender to His will;

That I may be reasonably happy in this life and supremely happy with Him forever in the next.

(prayer attributed to Reinhold Neibuhr, 1892-1971)

“I added Jesus to this prayer.”— Toni
