Toni’s Conference Call Ministry

I started the conference call ministry in 2013 after discovering that women were not comfortable meeting in public places to discuss their past abortions.

So, the Lord gave me the idea for a conference call.

The purpose of the call is to give women a safe place to speak honestly about their abortion in a safe and loving environment.

Please join us. We are here to love, listen and encourage you to seek the Lord and His comfort, healing and gift of forgiveness.

May God bless you as you seek to be healed from your past abortion.—Toni

Abortion & Abuse Recovery Women’s Support Group

THE PURPOSE

The purpose for this support group is to give women a safe place to speak honestly and openly about their past trauma from abortion and abuse in a loving and caring environment. It is God’s desire that His daughters be healed in every area of their lives. For too many years, we felt all alone sitting in darkness and isolation. God wants us free from the shame, guilt, and condemnation that have kept us hiding in our secrets.

God wants us to step out of the darkness into His glorious light so we can be healed to become the women He created us to be. Perhaps for the first time in our lives, we can be set free from our past, to live the abundant life Jesus came to give us. Only God can take our ashes and our horrible decisions and turn them into something beautiful for our good and His glory.

THE GUIDELINES

The healing begins when we risk moving out of isolation; the feelings and buried memories will return.

Here in this group, we will provide you with a safe environment to share your heart and your hurts about your past in a loving and caring environment.

This is a Christ-centered anonymous meeting. Everything that is said in the group stays in the group. It is only then that we can feel safe to share.

When you see someone outside the group, please refrain from mentioning where you met unless all persons are comfortable with sharing that.

Offensive language has no place in a Christ-centered recovery group.

When you share with the group, use “I” statements, like “I think…”and/or “I feel…” and address the group as a whole. Please only share your experience, strength and hope while you dialogue on the topic.

No cross talk; cross talk is when two individuals engage in a conversation excluding the rest of the group. The facilitators do have permission to redirect the group if they go off topic.

We are not here to fix one another but to encourage each other on our spiritual journey to wholeness and healing that is made possible through a relationship with Jesus Christ.

When on the conference call, please introduce yourself and say, “Hi, I am Toni, and I would like to share.” When finished sharing, say something like, “Thank you for letting me share.”

Please keep your phone on mute when you are not sharing so it is a good connection for all.

Our Florida statute mandates that we report any threats or acts of serious harm to self or others, suspected neglect, physical, or sexual abuse of children or vulnerable adults.

These conference call topics are located on our website: MyAshesToBeauty.com, under BLOGS.

Lastly, thank you for being on this call because without you there would be no conference call ministry.

God Bless you.

Serenity Prayer

God grant me the serenity to accept the things I cannot change;

Courage to change the things I can;

And wisdom to know the difference.

Living one day at a time;

Enjoying one moment at a time;

Accepting hardships as the pathway to peace;

Taking as Jesus did, this sinful world as it is, not as I would have it;

Trusting that He will make all things right if I surrender to His will;

That I may be reasonably happy in this life and supremely happy with Him forever in the next.

Amen.
